Established in 2008, the Comprehensive Thalassemia Care, Pediatric Hematology-Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplantation Center has emerged as a leading referral center in Western India for complex blood disorders and childhood cancers. Bone Marrow Transplantation

We perform all types of BMT including autologous, allogeneic (matched related, matched unrelated, haploidentical), and cord blood transplants. Our dedicated BMT unit has 12 isolation rooms with HEPA filtration and positive pressure systems.

Hematopoietic Stem Cell Laboratory

Our state-of-the-art stem cell processing laboratory is accredited by FACT (Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy). We perform stem cell harvesting, cryopreservation, and manipulation including CD34+ selection and T-cell depletion.

Success varies based on disease type, stage, patient age, and donor match. For non-malignant disorders like thalassemia major, our cure rate exceeds 90% with matched sibling donors.

Yes, we have a dedicated international patient services division that assists with medical visas, accommodation, interpreter services, and insurance coordination. We've treated patients from over 15 countries including Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, UAE, Oman, Kenya, and Tanzania.

We accept all major Indian insurance providers and have direct billing arrangements with over 30 companies. For international patients, we accept insurance from most global providers and can assist with pre-authorization. We also have a financial counseling department to help patients access government schemes and charitable funding.

For patients with a matched sibling donor, we can typically schedule a transplant within 4-6 weeks. For unrelated donor searches, the average time is 2-3 months through national and international registries. Emergency transplants for high-risk leukemias can be arranged within 2-3 weeks using haploidentical family donors.
